Reaching Boracay Island now is very accessible by land, sea and air transportations. Tourists take flights from Manila International Airport also known as Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Boracay through Kalibo International Airport or Caticlan Airport now also known as Boracay Airport.
Flying into Kalibo International Airport are the following Airlines and their destinations:
- AirAsia Zest - Manila, Seoul-Incheon (Charter: Chongqing, Kunming)
- Cebu Pacific - Cebu, Davao, Hong Kong, Manila (Charter: Seoul-Incheon, Shanghai-Pudong)
- Philippine Airlines - Busan, Manila, Seoul-Incheon
- PAL Express - Hangzhou, Manila (Charter: Shanghai-Pudong)
- Tigerair Philippines - Clark, Manila, Singapore
Once in Kalibo, a one and a half hours bus, van or jeepney ride through picturesque surroundings will take you to Caticlan Jetty Port or Tabon Port (if its southwest monsoon season) from where all bancas (Outriggers) depart for Cagban Jetty Port or Tambisaan Port (if its southwest monsoon season). From the Port you can ride a tricycle, multi-cab or van going to your destination in the Island.
Flying into Caticlan Airport are the following Airlines and their destinations:
- Cebu Pacific - Cebu, Manila
- PAL Express - Cebu, Manila
- SkyJet - (Charter: Cebu, Davao, Manila)
Landing in Caticlan, you have the choice of either hiring a tricycle, van or walk to the Caticlan Jetty Port (pier).
You can also charter your own private plane with Lionair for an experience of a lifetime.
Travel by sea is through a ferry by 2GO Travel.
Another mode of transportation if you have a vehicle that you want to bring with you is the Roll-on/roll-off (RORO) ships which is an inter-island system of transportation that involves the driving of a motorized land vehicle in and out of an inter-island ferry or cargo ship.
If you are from Manila you can drive to Batangas Port (approximately 2 hours drive) and then ride a ferry to Calapan, Oriental Mindoro (approximately 3 hours travel time) you can choose from the following ferry operator:

- Besta Shipping Lines
- Philharbor Ferries and Port Services
- Super Shuttle RORO Corporation
From Calapan its a 3 hours drive away to reach Roxas, Oriental Mindoro. From Roxas you can then again ride a ferry going to Caticlan (approximately 4 hours travel time) and you can choose among the following ferry operators:

- Besta Shipping Lines, Inc.

If you are travelling alone or with some companions you can also try the RORO buses that will take you from Manila to Caticlan the usual fare is PHP 950.00 - 1,150.00 from ordinary bus/air-conditioned bus.

There are approximately 600 tourism establishment here in the Island consist of bars, restaurants, cottages and resorts, travel agencies, dive shops and hotels. Total tourist arrivals last year 2013 is 1,363,599 of which 42,691 are Overseas Filipino; 705,402 are locals; and 615,506 are foreigners.
